Ethanol Fuel Research

For a very long time, research has been conducted regarding the use of ethanol as an alternative fuel when it comes to powering vehicles. What experts are finding out about ethanol fuel research is that ethanol is a very viable alternative source of fuel for all types of vehicles. It is easy to make since it’s made of corn, soybeans, and other types of waste like paper, plus it burns cleaner than regular gasoline and powers your car just the same as if you were putting gasoline into the engine.

Once the research began, the ones involved in the experiments began to realize very quickly that ethanol as an alternative fuel would take the vehicle industry by storm. They weren’t disappointed. As their findings began becoming public, industry experts were amazed at what was being found and excited as well.

Ethanol is a much cleaner burning fuel than straight gasoline, and researchers began developing a hybrid fuel called E85 that is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than regular gasoline – even unleaded! And that’s just the beginning!

The trend towards has taken the world by storm. The research that is being done into the various types of – including ethanol – is taking up many man-hours in laboratories all around the world. However, the truth is that we are in an environmental crisis. Global warming is a serious weather phenomenon that is affecting us every day. Research has shown that using like ethanol can significantly reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the air and actually help offset the damage we have already done.

With the development of E85 fuel (85 percent ethanol, 15 percent gasoline), research started intensely as scientists tried to develop a 100 percent ethanol fuel as an alternative to gasoline. Right now, E85 is on the market and being used by more and more people. While there are many types of being developed for use in vehicles, ethanol still shows the most promise when it comes to clean burning fuels.

When it comes to new products that come on the market to change our way of thinking about that which we are used to, we have to sit up and take notice of the research that has been done regarding ethanol as a viable fuel source. There is something that needs to be done for our environment. Gasoline burning vehicles contribute the most towards environmental damage. As research will prove, ethanol is quite possibly the most viable alternative fuel source that will help our world and ourselves as well!
